There have been people out there that have burned a bible and come back within time and actually read the book and ended up saved. I do not believe that you committed the unpardonable sin. I believe in the Bible the only sin that you can commit that is can't be forgiven is blasphemying the holy spirit.

Matthew 12:31-32 (Larger context: 12:22-37)

31 "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

32 "And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in the {age} to come.

Mark 3:28-30 (Larger context: 3:20-30)

28 "Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;

29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"--

30 because they were saying, "He has an unclean spirit."

Luke 12:10

10 "And everyone who will speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him.

When a person sees the clear evidence provided by the Holy Spirit (in this case a real miracle) yet is so against it that he rejects it, he blasphemes the Spirit and cannot be forgiven. The reason he cannot be forgiven is that they do not avail themselves to the forgiveness God offers.

So, it is true that you can be forgiven and start over again in your walk, just be more careful next time !

No -- I had severe OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) when I was a kid and one of the forms (recognized by religious institutions) was 'scrupolosity'. Bad thoughts and verbal utterances against Jesus and in support of the devil made me think I was doomed and committing horrible sins. Once someone helped me to realize that it was just OCD and that these things mean nothing, my fears went away. God is Unconditional Love and nothing you can say or do can affect your relationship. For example, I can now say the following without any effect: "I hate God and I love the devil.". When I was a kid, I thought I was doomed for this. Now I realize God is Love and that this is just some silly words.

That is not the unpardonable sin. If you had been guilty of it, you wouldnt care to repent or ask for forgiveness. I hope you have a long happy Christian life.

If you were sincere in your repentence and when you prayed the sinners prayer then you are saved for all eternity.
The unpardonable sin is the sin of unbelief - those that never choose to believe and surrender to God.

You have asked this same question for quite some time now. At least five or six times.

I just reread your questions.

Either you are mentally ill to carry on over this for so long or you are a troll.

As a result, sorry, I won't bother any further.

if you believe in an understanding and loving god, then he is big enough to forgive you for a moment of anger. And if you don't believe your god is a loving one, why are you bothering with him?

look at all the strife and lies that have gone on throughout human history; even if you beleive you have done wrong, who have you harmed? The Christian tradition tends to stress that sins can be repented and forgiven; it sounds like you've repented already.

Honey, God is big enough to take your anger, and He understands our failings as humans. You DID NOT commit the unpardonable sin.

Someone very wise once told me that if you worry that you've commited the unforgiveable sin then you haven't because the person who would, WOULD NEVER worry about it. They wouldn't care.

God loves you, hon. He will never let go if you ask Him not to. I know....believe me, it's TRUE!!!!

I lost everything, my family to a car wreck My home to a disaster.my health.and i pulled over once in my car and cussed God for a while. But he knows our hearts.when your not connected to God thru his spirit is the only unpardonable sin. a sin is simply anything that comes between you and the guidance of the spirit.if you deny the spirit of God then that's unpardonable, simple.if you haven't asked Gods spirit into you. and ask of it in prayer and thoughts. and listen for the answers and try to do Gods will then your lost.

I don't think that you did. The only sins that are unforgivable are blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and not forgiving others. I found this wonderful website for you. Please read it and understand that you are alright! Take care and keep living for the Lord!!

You did the right thing you repented remember Peter denied Jesus three times and that is the same thing he did he went away and wept bitterly. God forgave him and he will forgive you to.Be not afraid just worship God. He loves you. Rejoice for your name is written in Heaven.
