Actually crunches are traditionally good for developing the abs, as long as you do them correctly and less than "300" a day. Also bringing the legs up and to the side helps.

Also you are young enough not to have to worry about body fat content. You will see results more when and after you reach full puberty at age 13 or so.

Your weight is normal for your body size and type. I would not get too carried away on your dieting just yet either!

You can't really ask that question because everyone has a different body and their body's react in different way. I recommend that you don't do 300-500 crunches a day but do 300-500 reps of a variety of different ab work outs to hit the abdomen from all angles for optimal loss. This will make sure you don't work on only the top and forget the bottom. Do crunches, situps, reverse crunches, scissor kicks look it up on google for more.

At 11 it's hard to tell, but if you're a girl, this much exercise can cause problems with your periods etc. Not that exercise is bad, but the way you feel after doing them is more important. If you have back pain, you may not being doing these crunches correctly and should make sure you don't over exert your body. Resting in between exercise gives your muscles a chance to restruction themselves. If you are unsure, ask your family physician.
