Knowledge is an accumulation of evidence, in the form of facts. Knowledge is understood to be provisional... it may change as additional facts are accumulated... however, until those new facts are in evidence, it would be perverse to withhold conditional concurrance. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with 'belief'.
'Belief' is a SUBSTITUTE for knowledge. It is not supported by FACTS, or EVIDENCE... it is supported by wishful, magical thinking... i.e., 'FAITH'. Belief, then, is the unsubstantiated certainty that one's ideations map to reality. Lets analyze that:
faith + belief ---> willful ignorance and self-delusion
Rational people rely on evidence - facts - knowledge... provisional acceptance of facts. Rational people reject 'belief'... belief is stupid and irrelevant. What is, IS... whether you believe it or not. Belief is an insidious mind-killer... it cuts one off from the open-minded (willing to consider alternative possibilities) and intellectually honest (willing to question and doubt one's own assumptions) consideration and evaluation of alternative possibilities.

That is because you are indoctrinated into the materialistic world.
since we are little we are indoctrinated in these things, to deny faith as an evidence is the same as denying the reasonable doubt of the current social system. Exibits are presented but no one actually saw the man doing it. And he is convicted on the faith of the jury.
Funny thing is most of the time the guilty verdict is correct to a point that even a confession is achieved. So the only reason we believe this testimony is because it is centered on and around the men's egocentric society. Admitting there is a God takes them down from their high places.

Paul understood the reality of a spiritual existence and supernatural world that is unseen by the unbelieving. If you look only at the natural world which can be proven by the laws of the scientific method, you can't comprehend that there are things that exist that cannot be proven by the rules of science, but that doesn't prove that they do not exist or are not comprehended by others. People tend to think there is no proof for things that cannot be reckoned by the five senses. But if that were true then we would have no scientific discoveries either, for instance, no TV and no microscopic life. Spiritual reality just lies even beyond science.

It depends on your definition of evidence. Some people, like Thomas in the Bible, need some sort of evidence. But our faith is mainly what we go by. When you take a leap of faith, God will meet you right where you are, and give you what you need to know that He exists and loves you.

The problem is not faith it is man thinking and their own beliefs that gets in the way instead relying on faith and letting the scriptures take heed not relying only on yourself trusting that their is something greater than what see with your eyes but trusting scriptures that is written cepher not king James Bible for salvation

Faith is what we give. Wisdom is what we receive for the faith we have given. What, you ask, strengthens faith? Wisdom. And what enriches wisdom? Faith. You have asked a most wondrous question. I dare say you have journeyed far. Keep up the great work! ;-) Blessings

Do you believe that we had a war with England in 1775 before cameras were invented? Do you believe that we once
had a Roman Empire. If you believe that, which there is only
written pruff, why would you not believe in the Bible that was the first history book that you should have read.

It takes faith to become a Christian. Once you are a christian the evidence is overwhelming. The Holy Spirit lives in our heart and he reveals himself to us. Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to know this evidence. Put your faith in God and he will reveal himself to you.
This simple prayer is all it takes to know God, but you must have faith and be sincere when you pray this:
Heavenly Father, I have sinned against you. I want forgiveness for all my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again.
Father, I give you my life to do with as you please. I want Jesus to come into my life and into my heart. This I ask in Jesus name, Amen.
I'll pray for you now.

Yes, we turn to the Bible for our evidence, but have faith that it is inspired by God and He exists.
Can you admit there is no evidence that God doesn't exist?

Faith is not in itself it is in an object, and that object is God . "hoped " here is not wishing for something is is palcing your belief on someone you know to be true. and evidence is used just as what we relie on in court that is proof. Christ says prove me and see that I am Good. (real). To the Christian who as prved Christ there is no doubt that He is what He says He is. So we are not putting our faitth on the imaginary but on what we know is real.
