i was wondering if any one knew what was going on w/ my cat? hes acting normal, eating puring playing...ect.. but he keeps licking his chops as if he got into penut butter?.... we dont have any so its not that... but as hes doing this a little foam comes out... yes im taking him in but my husband is at work right now.. just wondering if any one experienced this.. it seems as tho its getting better but hes still smakin his chops?.... any help would be great!

no he does not have rabies hes an indoor cat!!

He doesn't have rabies, get real folks, stop trying to scare her, they don't do like they show in the cartoons.
He may have a sliver stuck in his mouth, a sore, a scratch inside, a cracked tooth, or something sharp caught between two teeth. The vet will be able to tell from an exam.
Some medications cause cats to do this too, if he was given anything in the past 10 hours it may bea reaction to that.

my cat had something similar, the licking of his chops and dry mouth. my vet said it was allergies and i had to give him meds. he got better with the meds. look around the house and make sure he didn't get into any type of chemicals IE antifreeze

SOUNDS like he got raybies take him to the vet to get a shot . he'll be fine
