I am Christian too. I know for a fact that Jesus is real, because I have felt His spirit so many times and so strongly that it would be a sin for me to deny Him. I also believe in a Heavenly Father and a Holy Ghost. Some religions believe that they are all one being, but I know that they are three seperate beings. This is what I believe and I don't care if I'm ridiculed about it.

You think our answers are rediculous? Well I think it's rediculous that some Christians want to prevent the teaching of science. I think it's kind of rediculous to think that a human boy was born through asexual reproduction, let alone the son of some supernatural ghost.

Biblically, I do not believe your last statement to be correct. Those who love Jesus are always in the minority because loving God, and admitting that you are a sinner not worthy of life, (a first step to repentance) is not fashionable in todays world.

To be a christian, one first has to realize there are laws that have been broken. Now Paul states in Romans chapter 1, that everyone has a knowledge of God and what his laws are. However if they keep ignoring them, they soon become unfeeling toward the Holy Spirit at work in them to turn them to repentance.

Next one has to believe in something incredible. That is that Jesus, who is God, (the second person of the trinity) came to earth, lived as a man yet without sin, and was killed to pay the price of each one of us, but only if we accept that.

Paul states that if Jesus did not rise from the dead, then we are dead in our sins. So we also believe that God raised him up and we too shall be raised incoruptable, (or in a glorified heavenly body) on the last day.

So one must confess his sins, believe in his heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, and the bible says Confess the LORD Jesus, (that is confess him to be Lord).

That is a tall order for a world that does not care to be accountable to God for lies, sexual acts, murder and all kinds of other horrible things.

The good news and I wish you had pointed this out, is that Jesus is ready to forgive and take as his brother or sister, anyone who will accept him. He will not force anyone to accept him however.

I believe in Jesus Christ. A Christian is a follower of Christ so you can't call yourself a Christian if you don't even believe in him! ;)

I believe Jesus is the son of God, Jehovah. They are not the same, not a trinity, but two separate individuals.

Boy, you really are a condescending little twit, aren't you?

You obviously know nothing about the history of religion, in general, or your religion, in particular, or you might change your tune. Do you know that most American atheists were brought up as christians, and many of us have read the entire christian bible?

I believe I'll have another beer.

Okay... For the question.

There is a difference between believing in the existence of your Christ and worshipping him as a God.

I fully acknowledge the existence of your God.
But he's not my God.
I'm not one of his people so he doesn't matter to me any more than I matter to him.

lol amen sister! You seem like a fun person, email me! As for why I believe in my man JC... I haven't always. But I weighed the evidence, did my research, decided that it was worth a shot, prayed a highly pathetic prayer asking God to reveal himself to me, and WOW did he ever! Now I'm madly in love, and their ain't nuttin anybody can do about it! I believe in my God for the same reason I believe in gravity and wind: I may not be able to see Him, but I can certainly feel the effects. How bout you? Why do you believe?

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

-- The Nicene Creed from 325 C.E.

With love in Christ.

Yeah, take it over and make as big a mess as any other country that is dominated by religion. Just like I said, no difference in radical Islam or radical Christians.
