This guy from my work stole over $2000 dollars. He had a chance to pay it back but he never did. Now he has a warrant out for his arrest and they are trying to find him. They don't have his new address but I do. Can I tell a police officer his address and get him put in jail?

Yes ofcourse you can!!

Get his åss locked up! If he stole $2000 dollars, and he has a warrant out for his arrest, then they will go to his house and arrest him. Who knows your work place may reward you for catching him. Promotions, pay raise, etc.

Call the police, and tell the dispatcher why you called, give the address of that man, and then the police will take it from there.

Please turn this guy in, he commited theft on your work place. Turn him in, it's the right thing to do.

If I were you I would simply give the information to your employer. Your employer is who is pressing the charges and wants that guy arrested and prosecuted. Like others here mentioned, you should get a good pat on the back by the boss.

I'd be very careful. I turned in someone who was on a felony list in the local newspaper. The dude knew someone in law enforcement (a secretary or something) and got my name.

That was pure hell. I called the Sheriff and he said he'd investigate. I told him that I would no longer call in on someone if that's the way they would handle things. He never called back with the conclusion of his investigation.

I will never turn someone in again (unless it's from a pay phone, but where do you find those these days?).

Absolutely...and in doing so, there may just be a reward for his capture. But be careful, if you are doing this as a revenge tactic, filing a false police report is also a crime. :)

Of course... just call in and give the dispatcher his name and date of birth and location... you dont even have to give your name.

And how is it that you know he stole the money?
What's the matter honey? Didn't he pay you enough? Now you wanna snitch him off?
