A beach someplace. 4 y/o is to young to appreciate an amusement park. Kids can play in the sand all day and be perfectly content, get them some sea-side junk food and they are loving life. Take you camera and you will get photographic memories to last a lifetime.

If you can afford it you can go to Disney World or even Sea World will be fun I just went with my kids ( 10 , 6, 2 yrs, & 6 month) we took a package tour inside Sea World includes a continental Breakfast, a tour to see Shamu & ticket for the park for $ 65 per person & it was fun we spend the hole day at Sea World & the kids had fun.. Also you can go to water parks or even kids museum which are fun too.. Just fin a place where ypu would like to go. Texas , Florida or even I believe in a city near New York there is Sesame Street amusement park it could be fun too. Just go to sesamestreet.com & you will find out or log to seaworld.com to look for this tours ... Good luck best wishes !!

At this stage, Disney World is a waste because she'll never remember it!

Just find someplace where you can get a bit of pampering by not having to cook and clean, and you can focus your attention on her and on bonding. She'll be thrilled if it's the beach, the mountains, a cruise, whatever.

Keep in mind your own interests and work those in. For example, I love antiquing, and I would take my daughter with me on junkets, but we balanced the antique hunts with playtime at the park and picnics.

DisneyWorld, DisneyLand, depending on where you live there is LeggoLand in San Diego California, There are Water parks and all kinds of "ocean parks" that have whales, dolphin and seals. Monterey California has a great underwater aquarium not to mention a beautiful coast line and some great attractions as well as nice Bed and Breakfast places. There is Hershey Park in Pennsylvania where you can watch them make chocolate candy and it has an amusement park as well. There is Knobles in Pennsylvania too.

By your daughter's age, I would say Disney World, but it's hard to only spend 3 nights there. Maybe somewhere else that has a beach resort? They are usually really relaxing, and both you and your daughter should enjoy it! Have fun!

How about a trip to the beach. Not a crowded touristy beach, but maybe a more out-of-the way beach. You can make sand-castles, take walks on the beach, collect sea-shells, maybe cook some marshmellows at night.

What do you think?

it depends on the age of you daughter....7-11 i would suggest Disney World. older then 11 would probably enjoy a cruise, a tour of California ( rent a car, start from San Diego and up ) , or a trip to London.

Maybe a fun hotel/water park? They usually have a large kiddie pool and fun stuff for a four year old. It could be a short/cheaper vacay.
