Why do atheists think that they´re more inteligent than people that believe in God ?

This goes to all the atheists, you think that you´re more intelligent, because you think that you question every aspect on your lives, but that doesn´t necessarily means that you´re intelligent, in fact and this is prove not like ur ******* phrases or the sheet you speak, it´s proven that atheists see life in a different way, the fact that they try to question everything makes them to see life in a NEGATIVE WAY, you´re not intelligent *******, LOSERS, IDIOTS, WHORES AND COCK SUCKERS, the difference between people that believes in god and you is that the people that believes in god has faith and you idiots, you don´t, so go and suck another cock you ******* atheists, wannabe nerds, haha wannabe nerds that´s like the most loser ilussion that a human being can have.

I want to know where you got your information. What census did you read or take that gives you the right to make this statement? I'm sure there are many Christians that feel the same way about atheists. I am a Christian. I can't look around this planet and not see the works of a very creative God. I truly don't understand how anyone can not believe that there is a God. But, that does not make them more ignorant than me. I know some very intelligent atheists. Some way smarter than me. But, intelligence has nothing to do with faith. Some of the most intelligent people in the world believe in Jesus as the Son of God and some don't. Any person who judges another and claims that they are ignorant just because they do not believe as you do actually makes you the more ignorant. So, I repeat, intelligence has nothing to do with faith.

I do not think that I am more intelligent than believers. I would say that I wonder how " intelligent " people can believe in one collection of fairytales and in the same breath condemn another collection of fairytales.

I'll put it like this. A person can believe everything in the bible why? Because a preacher says so, because the book says so, because a bunch of people believe this to be right?
But, that same person thinks of greek gods, roman gods, egyptian gods, persian gods, and all of the other religious books as fairytales,myths or down right "satanic writings".

Also, you must remeber that for many years before the invention of christianty, judaism, islam these other religions were followed and believed in just as much as you believe in your religion. What makes you right and them wrong?

And if you are right do all of those people go to hell? And if they do why did god not want to save them also? It is not even fair that they should not have recieved the "good news" but everyone after them does. Maybe god just did not like those people "he created" and chose another group as those worthy of recieving the " good news" and the ability to be saved from hell.

it is not a matter of intelligence it is a matter of why believe one set of myths as opposed to believing in another that has the same teachings, stories, hero's. ( Although the names are different they did many of the same things).

Because they think that believing in God disrupts and clouds our minds from the truth. However christians are just as smart as atheists sometimes smarter. Belief has nothing to do with how smart you are. And my christian friend got a full scholarship to harvard on academics while alot of my atheist friends went to less academic colleges. It depends on the person not religion or lack of religion.


And unfortunately captain atheism, your comment is fals. God has not been proven false, there has been statements that try to disprove him but the fact is he can't be proven real or fake.

I don't think that atheists mean all around more intelligent, that one's faith has no bearing one's ability to understand and retain knowledge. I think they are ususally referring to people believing in god because they feel that this is not logical. I have met plenty of atheists that I did much better in school and college than, and I have a much better job, and I am christian.

I don't. Some do for the same reason the Christians think they are smarter than atheists. The Christians don't see what is glaringly obvious to an atheist. Much the same way that atheists don't see what is so glaringly obvious to Christians. Me, I don't think faith has anything to do with intelligence. My buddy is smarter than me and he's devout Catholic. I'm smarter than people who are devout. Faith or lack of doesn't equal intellect.

speaking for myself, i don't think intelligence has a thing to do with this topic...both sides look at the facts and draw conclusions based on those facts. atheists however, seek facts from many sources from which they base their conclusions. religious people do not do this. they have only one source for their facts and actually avoid and discard any facts or information that conflicts with their world view. an atheist for example, would not have any problem at all changing his position if god could be proven to exist. we are reasonable people you see...

Because Christan's are sentimental and raised to believe only one fact about their life. No different than a terrorist just trained to hate. If I had to name the amount of people who have attacked me over the year for something I said that went against their beliefs? Sheesh, it would be a lot. "Retract that comment!", they say... but yet I never tell them to retract a thing. They're like a pit-bull tied to a dog house.
