Only God decides who goes to hell.

However most anti-immigrant people seem to be acting in an unchristianlike manner.

Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and the same origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity.

The Catholic Church supports human rights and humane immigration law, not crime.

You shall not oppress an alien; you well know how it feels to be an alien, since you were once aliens yourselves in the land of Egypt. (Exodus 23:9)

The émigré Holy Family of Nazareth, fleeing into Egypt, is the archetype of every refugee family. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, living in exile in Egypt to escape the fury of an evil king, are, for all times and all places, the models and protectors of every migrant, alien and refugee of whatever kind who, whether compelled by fear of persecution or by want, is forced to leave his native land, his beloved parents and relatives, his close friends, and to seek a foreign soil. (Exsul Familia, Pope Pius XII, 1952)

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" (The Statue of Liberty)

Jesus said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)

If we truly believe and live this greatest commandment then we believe that the earth, this country, everything we have are gifts from God, which we are called to share with our less fortunate neighbors.

With love in Christ.

The only ones who go to hell is those who rejected Jesus as their Savior and never been saved. It does not matter what race they are, Jesus loves them all the same. You must be saved by the grace of God to go to Heaven.

"Only God decides who goes to hell." Not base on the Bible!

In spite of the religious comment just above me. The individual choose if they want to go to heaven. Why, because you don't have to do anything other than what you are doing already to go to hell.

Word of God reads:

"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18

The Bible clearly states that you don't have to do anything to go to hell because you are already going there. And it also clearly states why.

"... except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:5

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Romans 5:12

What does it take so you don't have to go to hell? Read the following:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:9-13

As the song goes: "Whosoever will..."

You can not enter the gates of heaven base on works. Nor can one enter the gates of heaven because Mary recommend you into heaven either. Because even Mary stated:

"And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." Luke 1:46-47

Now, if you will trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour, pray this simple prayer from your heart:

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I deserve to pay my own sin debt, but I do believe that You died for me to pay the debt that I owe. Today, the best I know how, I trust You as my Saviour. I will depend on You from this moment on for my salvation. Amen.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." Proverbs 3:5-7
