I'm going to put all of my Loomis, St. Croix, and Falcon rods, Shimano and Team Daiwa reels up for sale and get 20 fish pens. Then I'll actually be able to afford to put gas in the boat!

while the convienance of small size may be appealing, shy away from things like this when it comes to serious fishing. Why pay good hard earned money for a fishing setup that obvioulsly would fail if you managed to hook into something big with it. Be safe and buy tryed and true equipment. you have enough worries as far as hook penetration and keeping a fished hooked. Why add another worry to the list. Buy and use good quality equipment. Theres nothing more dissapointing then losing a trophy fish....or even smaller ones for that matter. STAY AWAY FROM GIMMICKS WHEN IT COMES TO FISHING PEOPLE! Youre just asking to be dissapointed.
p.s. That was funny mclaren
Good luck and throw the big ones back.

i wouldn't i think that if you hook into a big enough fish they'll snap right in half. and why would it need a reel they only cast 3-4 feet you can just swing the fish in.

They claim its a sturdy telescoping design.
I never seen a telescoping fishing rod that could actually withstand a fight with a good sized fish.
