As soon as they can eat on their own. I leave mine with the momma til they are about 11-12 weeks old so they can learn very important social skills from her and they seem to make better behaved pups and easier to train and housebreak. But Physically about 6-8 weeks is possible.

In most states and counties it is illegal to sell a puppy prior to 8 weeks old. They are often weened from their mother by 6-7 weeks but still need to be around her to learn discipline. You don't want to take chances with a puppy earlier than 8 weeks old. They can suffer from seperation anxiety.

They can't survive on their own, someone has to care for them and love them. When they can eat puppy food and can be away from their mommy is 6-8 weeks old. I would suggest a 12 week old puppy-- one that is fully weened and has been eating puppy food.

the best is 8 weeks or older. tehy may be weaned at 5-6 weeks but they can end up having social problems and biting problems as it is the 6-8 weeks that the mother would train them as well as any littermates about such things. teh 6-8 week period is very crucial for the training that mom would give.

No sooner than 8 weeks but it's best to make sure they are eatting food before taking them from the mom ~

people say 6 weeks but i think its too early 8 weeks is ok but 12 is best since theyll learn alot from there mom. any earlier then above numbers its too soon....bad idea...

i would say at 8 weeks or intill you see that the pup is puppy food on its own.

It can survive at 6 weeks. but you should wait atleast 10 weeks. I breed palmeranians and I wait 2 months to sell them....
