You can't have real love without justice. A word picture that portrays hell as an unimaginable painful reality for evil is a picture that justice will prevail. It is also a hope for meek people who suffer at the hand of evil that they can trust God to prevail over their oppressors who will get what they deserve. I have worked undercover for the Drug Enforcement Agency and have experienced people who deserve hell as well as every arrogant sinner. Hell is a choice.

Wait a minute! When I asked why and how could god send people to hell, the response I got was "god does not send people to hell, people send themselves." If that is so then why does he need to judge us? Make up your mind about your religion you can't have it both ways. Either god is evil and enjoys sending people to hell. Or the decision is ours and we can all choose our own destiny. Or the truth which is we are constantly reincarnated until we reach enlightenment. Isn't that much better? We get as many chances as we need to finally get it right.

Oh, now I have to decide my own punishment, too? That's a lot of nerve. God never gives us any evidence, or does anything that we can observe, and now I have to EVEN decide my own fate for eternity? What the **** do I need him for anyway?

Sure, if it start raining fire, and a giant man in a chariot comes down out of the sky, i will repent and ask god for his forgiveness.

However I think it'll be more likely for me to catch Santa this year, with my Santa Grabber 2000.

listen if God is real he'd propbably reward those who were smart enough to ask or question him, instead of just blindly following him, and if he did try to punish me for it i'd remind him that earth is hell and punishment should be void. but, if not i'd enjoy my sentence it hell as a reminder why i questioned him.

this question is punishment enough but I say let me go into heaven and watch how boring it would be to watch his adoring fans act like drooling kids sitting around him worshiping him.

Being in Heaven but remembering how much of an evil prick he is. That way, at least I get the Heavenly comforts.

I don't think you get your pick. I think you're pretty much at the mercy of God.

Besides, He doesn't punish - we do that to ourselves.
