I have dental insurance but it covers $2000 a year and I have a feeling this could be more expensive. Is it worth having an implant put in? How much does that cost? I live in California.

One of the reasons I would consider implant surgery would be for eating. What would that cost?

when i had oral surgery for the same thing, i was put to sleep, they had to do it. but it cost me around $1,250. $750.00 to be put asleep, and about $500.00 for the procedure.

I am having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, I live in Alberta Canada, the estimated price per-tooth is about $450 to removed them.
Personally I would ask your dentist about cost, and it all up to you if you want an implant or not. My father has some of his back moles removed, and he is fine - he just take small bites when eating meat.

For a regular tooth pulling, it might be about $300-500
I don't know about the cost of implants. The dentist would have to estimate that
