hi,
im thinking of changing my car, i currently have an escort, but dont really need a big car, im thinking of getting a nissan micra, vauxhall corsa or a ford fiesta, what do you think of these cars and any recomendations for other small cars, l wont be buying a new one, it will be a used one, maybe about 5 or 6 years old.

I think that anything Japanese is best, mainly for reliability. It's no good looking "cool" if the thing won't start in the morning or breaks down in a dodgy area.
I also think that Jap cars, especially the superminis, look modern and fresh.
These are my recommendations, in order of preference:
1. Toyota Yaris (1.4 D4-D)
2. Honda Jazz
3. Nissan Micra
I also like the Mitsubishi Colt, although it's only been out three years.
As for the Fiesta and Corsa, no thank you. They are just too common, and boring. I always like something a little bit different.

In my honest opinion it depends on your liking of cars, it seems like you like economy cars, so i would check out a Honda Fit, a Nissan Altima, or a Dodge Neon. They make great gas mileage and they are quite luxurious. If you are looking for a more sports type car, there is a: Toyota Celica, Mitsubishi Eclipse or a Nissan 350z

Fiestas are good second hand, spares are relatively cheap and they are not too difficult to maintain. Also consider a VW Polo or Lupo as they will hold their value and have VW's traditionally good quality build.

No contest---Buy a nice used Skoda Fabia pref. diesel. You get ,build quality,reliability,economy .It also comes with zero street cred.so you dont have waste any energy bragging about it. Buy top of the range Elagance model with all the bells & whistles.Wear leather jacket & cap ,drive with one hand on wheel ,other dangling out of open window---Look like Eastern block pimp----Brilliant!!!

idk they all look stupid... srry but the best one is vauxhall corsa...
