Ok, so whenever we went and invaded iraq for "Weopans of Mass Destruction" Dumb bush didn't find sh*t. This was a waste and then it went from that to "mission Iraqi freedom", which i want te iraqis to be free, so then they could live in somewhat peace. and then it changed to another name. are these just bush's coverups for his mistakes?

The reasons for authorizing military operations against Iraq are listed in the Public Law whose URL appears below. There was little reference to weapons of mass destruction made in that law. As for the other answer referencing "mission accomplished", the banner which was displayed across the island of that aircraft carrier referred to the mission of that carrier strike group. The President, making his speech from the flight deck, never used that phrase.

Hahaha. Thanks markj. "Accomplish one mission?!?!?!" What mission has been accomplished. The question addresses a valid point.
First, we were told we should have a war because Saddam was involved in 9/11. He wasn't.
Then, we were told we should have a war because Saddam had WMD's and posed a threat to us. He didn't (on both accounts).
Then, we were told we should have a war to make Iraq a democracy and the Middle East a safer place. (The majority of Iraqis want us out. Now, what's a democracy again...?)

Bush has not accomplished anything worthwhile. ANYTHING.

p.s. "War doesn't begin and end over night [sic]?" No sh*t. Someone should have taught that moron Bush that. "Mission Accomplished!" Du-oh.

No, those are names for different missions. Just because you accomplish one mission doesn't mean the war is over. This has nothing to do with Bush covering up his mistakes. War doesn't begin and end over night. I wish you Liberals would get that into your thick heads.

Sadly this president can tell his supporters anything and they will dance to his tune. Fortunately most people are waking up, i.e. his poll ratings in the 20s, very unusual for a war president.
