Everything. As a student studying to become a Catholic priest, I cannot see how my life (or anyone's life, for that matter) can have any meaning or true joy without faith. It is very deep, and that's why it is so insulting to see so many shallow people in the "Religion and Spirituality" section doing everything they can to shoot down any and all types of religion and spirituality. If life was only a matter of living, I wouldn't want to live at all.

I wouldn't call my beliefs a religion, because I don't adhere to much ritual, just love God and seek what He wants me to do in my life
People say that Christianity is only a crutch Well, so what?
Isn't it better than the other things that people lean on?
I depend on God and His word to help make decision, make me aware of the needs of others, and to keep me from being the mean-spirited b-tch I used to be.

My main things are REAL peace and joy. I can have fun doing things that I should not really do, but when I am most happiest is when I am right with God. I know to some it may sound funny or fake. But really that is what He brings me.

It gives me peace and comfort. It gives me direction and purpose. It gives me a friend to lean on when there are no friends around. It gives me spiritual strength. It helps me get through tough times, and it helps me appreciate the good times. It provides me with stability and knowledge, which better prepares me to deal with life's obstacles. Most importantly, it gives me love and understanding.

That there is no absolute truth.
Good and evil are definitions of the one who defines them.
Use the good stuff that works, throw out the crap.
Don't answer the door to guys in suits, or white labcoats.
