I finally got frame from Co - motion all ready - it have couplings installed , so I want top guality reliable components and to be able find parts in EU , North America and Asia . My problem is to choise components . There is plenty on market like Shimano , Campagnolo or something else . This bike will by used for long distances touring overseas . Any Idea ? Please help .

I think you should look locally for some bike shops and see if they look like they know what they're doing. They could help you get the right build for your bike.

I think that both Shimano and Campagnolo make low and high end stuff, so it just depend on the group level you're buying.

Also, they don't make everything you will need. You will need some nice wheels, and seatpost, stem, handlebars which are probably not made by neither of them.

it kind of becomes a no win situation. you have a frame, but you'll find that buying everything to build it costs far more than buying a complete bike. by the time you buy the group, the saddle, the pedals, the stem and bars and so on, it just doesnt make sense to build an existing frame unless it is something you really, really want to do.

Yes, buy a bike that's already made. A custom made bike won't be cost effective.

i have shimano ultegra. good stuff. kinda find the wires running outa shifters annoying. look at campy centaur, good value. yeah buying components separetly is expensive. you can probably strip a new bike for less.
