I want to make sure that if I use one of their services I won't get scammed.

I have used Travelocity many times and never got scammed. You pay with a credit card, read the agreement carefully about what you'd have to pay if you decide to change your flight, and print out your confirmation number. I never had any problems but once and it was my fault. I reserved a rentacar in Costa Rica for two days and there was a 3 day minimum, which was in the agreement online when I reserved; I just didn't read it. We found that out at the rental agency in CR, but we took it anyway and the 3 days' rent still was a good deal since the guy gave us unlimited miles, but we returned the car after 2 days as we had to.

YEa- if you get sick or injured with ANY airline or travel agency and bought a restricted ticket (almost every ticket)

You will have to send in a death certificate or a note from the doctor.

It's the airlines rules- the travel agency (Orbits, travelocity, expedia) have to follow them.

I mean. I buy a nonrefundable ticket. Oh! cough-cough (wink wink) I am too sick to fly- poor me.

Of course they want proof before they refund a NONrefundable ticket.
This will the be same for EVERYONE.

All the 3 mentioned so far- orbits, travelocity, expedia have been on line for years and are very legitamet.

I have used both sites on multiple occasions. Travelocity is the better of the two. Although they both have great deals. Especially if you get the flight, hotel, and car all together. It saves you a ton. Good luck, and have fun!

We use both for travel arrangements for the attorneys at our law firm. I've used Orbitz personally. No scam, good deals.

i've purchased from travelocity and NEVER again. when i purchased my ticket, i had to cancel it due to illness etc... so i had to get proof so i could get my money back but it was a pain.... i'd recommend SOUTHWEST! they dont have their prices included with any of those travelocity/orbitz etc.... and its a lot CHEAPER!!!!
