Taoism, though large in comparison to some religions, makes up only 1% of the world's population, meaning that it is a minority religion in China, where it originated. In the U.S., you would be fairly fortunate to find one (as there can't be many of them, as 83% of the population are Christian, and even some of the larger religions, Hinduism, Judaism, and Islam, are hard to find).

I am very into it! I don't think it's popular. A lot of people have no idea what it is.
The yin/yang symbol is popular, though, although I think most people don't recognize the connection. I didn't, for a very long time.

I actually have been studying recently. There is a ton of valuable and enlightening knowledge in there. Alas i am from Vancouver because Canadians just do it better

Not really. I think that belief has to do with govt. system or politics....I could be wrong though, its been a while.
