I understand that there is no in-game settings for AF, and that one would have to manually enable it using their video card configuration software. My question is, when enabling an option such as AF (say, AF16x), how would the GPU software know when to enable the abilities as fit (i.e. only doing AF in-game)? Or, is it enabled all the time, and I would even have AF while running Vista? Thanks for your help!

There is an option to enable it in general, which technically yes would mean that you would be running it even in Vista, which wouldn't be that huge of a deal since there is nothing for it to really filter in Vista. However I know for a fact that the nVidia Control Panel allows you to set individual settings for different games, and I am sure that ATI will also allow that.

well, we can't exactly tell you a thing without seeing your graphics card, processor, ram, etc. but here's a website that will verify your computers stats, and show if you can or cannot play it.
