Can you go to jail if your boyfriend/husband is selling drugs and you dont know about it? You guys live together and the police find some drugs in your house. He tells them that you have nothing to do with it and that the drugs are his.

If you are in the same house as the drug sales operation, you are gonna take the ride as well.

The state may offer you a plea deal if you turn states evidence, but otherwise you are going to prison.

On a personal note.... why do you have a boyfriend that sells drugs? Lift up your standards and get on board the positive life train!

Seems to me as though you already know about drugs being sold by your boyfriend/husband. why would you even stay with a person like that? You risk the chance of prosecution.

If it is your house (that is the deed is in your name or your name is on the rental contract) then yes you can be arrested and go to jail for some one else leaving drugs at your house... if you can convince the judge or jury that you didn't know about it and it wasn't yours you might get lucky, but that's not gonna be easy to do...

Technically, you could go to jail, however, most of the time, unless there is evidence that you were involved in any way, then only the BF would go down for it. But dont think that you wont be watched for the next few months.

Its very doubtful that the DA would try to prosecute, unless UC officers actually made buys from you or had first hand knowledge that you were participating.

Well, being that Congressman Barney Frank's gay lover was running a homosexual prostitution service out of the Congressman's apartment in Washington, DC and nothing was done to Barney-Boy, I'd have to say no.
