I look for "I support the troops" decal on vehicles and when I stop at stop lights (Within shouting distance) "OR" when I stop at a Restaurant I politely ask them to send their 19 and 21 year old children to the war and support the war and help make Mr Bush look good. The response? All the supporters look as if they are eating a tart lemon. Why don't they want to help Mr Bush?

I show respect at all times. I even wear my American Legion shirt. The nice war supporters still look like they eat lemons.

Still does not make sense. Military is volunteer, how many people do you say that to that already have family over there or have died for their country? They have those stickers on their vehicles for a reason and they are probably shocked that someone would say something like that.
How would they send anyone anyway? It is all volunteer and by now most have re enlisted so they believe in it to.
I do support the war and what they are fighting for - still!!!

i'm no longer a clinton supporter - yet this theory that a call as quickly as made can in no way be as much as date or replaced is ludicrous. New info is composed of easy, circumstances substitute, and new ideas emerge. some call it turn flopping - I call it thoughtfulness and serious thinking.

I have to admit, you're making it more plausible by degrees, though. When you started out, you were claiming that they were attacking you. You really should, for versimilitude, make up a few annecdotes of those 'rare exceptions' who tell you that thier son or daughter is already serving - or was killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. (But be careful, the last, while effective, is statistically improbable).

Maybe for two reasons tough guy:
1. They don't have any children or don't have any children that are old enough to go to war.
2. They already have children enlisted in the military.
Why aren't you in DC protesting?

tsk tsk tsk... amazing. you do realize that our military is composed of VOLUNTARY servicemen/women, right?? military service is NOT for everyone. i'm as patriotic as they come.. and i would GLADLY be first in line if a draft was needed... but, i'm not gonna run to my nearest recruiting office because i CHOOSE not to... these men and women know what they are getting into... just like the police, the fire department, the coast guard.. it's VOLUNTARY. and they get PAID to do it.

Maybe you should mind your own business. Service in the military is voluntary, let the volunteers volunteer.
If you support the war so much, by your own logic you should be there. If you don't support the war then shut up.

they do by paying taxes , it seems your theory is if you support something you have to do it . So if you support gay rights you must have gay sex , if you are pro choice you have to kill babies , if you support national health care you have to donate most of your income to the cause .
hopefully now you will see your theory is just wrong , and you are yet another example of why liberalism is a mental disorder

maybe they should take the money that they are spending on the stickers and give it to the military to buy needed supplies instead of using it to support a sticker factory in China
I have actually heard people who have stickers and flags pasted all over everything, claim they support the war and the troops, and then later brag about cheating on their taxes, I don't think they understand what support really means
