We can't know what God is thinking or why bad things happen. But, rather than turning away from the Church, you might consider how Tammy Faye kept HER faith to the very end, even with something so horrible happening to her. She understood God loves her. If she retained her love for God even to the end, and she is the one suffering, what does it say about each of us if we turn away from that love using her suffering as an excuse?

Tammy Faye Baker, died just like so many others who believe in God and others who don't. God has no preference because of your religion or your ministry.... How about all the children who have died in brutal ways?

From my observation VANITY. One can say that I love you lord a thousand times but if your lifestyle doesn't change then
you're living in sin. There are so many cardinal sins a person can commit that the devil can subtlely deceive and convince us to believe that the life we live is normal. Now I can't say how she lived but I definitely know that actions speak louder than words. And in my point of view a man or womens behavior toward life has to be a reflective mirror image of how GOD wants one to live.

Don't feel sorry for her. The Catholic Church understands the value of Redemptive Suffering (you should go back to the Church, by the way). She has had the privilege of experiencing the power of the Cross in her own life, and is consequently enjoying its fruits.

Who are you to judge GOD?
We have a God who loves us so much He has given us hundreds of guidelines to live by to keep us from such death.
You don't know what kind of life she lived, what she ate, what type of sex she had, how many bad habits, otc meds, prescription, etc.
We are always the product of our own actions. though she kept her faith to the end.
A study was just done on the Ashkenazi Jews to find out why they live to be 100 +.
They practice the old testament principles.
Everyone who practices Gods plan, is blessed.
NOTICE: I did not say modern day christianity, I said Gods.
Praise God, she is suffering no longer.

She wasn't raped, mutilated, and hacked apart. She die of a disease. My Aunt didn't get to know when her end was coming like Tammy Faye. Your question is an insult.

If you were Catholic, then you must know something about redemptive suffering.
If you don't, you might go to www.Catholic.com and look it up.
She did not seem mad about it. She did not consider it hell on earth, I was never a big fan, but I also felt sorry for her.
Peace be with you!

the creator does not "allow" or "disallow", that is not the purpose for it's being. The creator creates and then watches, what we make of our lives and our world is our own doing, you cannot blame anyone but ourselves for the things that happen to us. I think good old Tammy Faye earned her death.

No, she replaced right into a touch common minded woman who believed interior the Jesus of her young ones. She replaced into no longer judgemental of gays, which speaks properly for her. She's out of her soreness now, so permit her be.

My brother in law went exactly the same way - no biggie. Death is brutal. Think about all the ways people die - god either doesn't give a crap or he doesn't exist :)
