I ordered a free credit report and there was an error. I disputed it and received a response that it was fixed, but could not see an updated report on their web site or a corrected score. Their web site says that they will send a report unless filed online. The report I see is still the old report and the score is also not updated so did I waste $8 on a bad score? I called and they want more money to tell me what the correct score should be and want me to pay for another report with the correction as well. Does anyone know how to get a good score and report from them after a dispute online?

OC1999 is right. By law, they are required to show you an updated report after a disputed item has been corrected. If you paid for a score on your first go-around, they are not required to give you a new score. It's sad but true.
I'd write them back and rqeuest to see an updated report at least, but you're wasting your time asking for a new score.
There are drawbacks when you dispute things online. Had you disputed via postal mail, they would have sent you a physical copy of the updated report.
Good luck!

You have learned the hard way, the main reason why you should not even worry about getting a score, until you know your report is correct. They are only required to update your report but there is no requirement to provide a new score.

that could desire to make no experience in any respect. If the charge is an unauthorized one, then something fraudulent has occurred and this is not your fault. in case you could coach that the signature, or different verification required to make a purchase order occurred without your awareness or consent, maximum suitable I realize it, you would be off the hook. Now, in the adventure that your little brother or sister "borrowed" your card and used it to run up some purchases, you may desire to easily have somewhat subject convincing the mastercard company which you're no longer attempting to tug some style of a "no-pay" scam on them, lol.
