have you signed your enlistment yet? sinse you havent gone to basic yet you are not prior service, talk to a air guard recuiter or air force recuiter, they'll tell you what you can do...and I agree the army does nothing right, you will be much better off when you switch from green to blue!

you won't be getting into the AF. they are not taking Prior service, and if you have been drilling regardless of whether or not you have been to Basic or school, you are considered PS.

first, the National Guard must agree to release you before you can speak to any AD recruiters.

Military branch is on the bottom a cruel branch. It was "invented" for defense of rights and interests of the populations, but has gone to be an interest organization for a lot people; those selling military equipment, to get jobs with high income, and also personal advantages. It should not be in that way.

Talk to an Air Force Recruiter. How did you Score on your ASVAB. That will tell you right away whether you will be wasting your time or not.

Best of luck the AF is getting rid of a bunch of people, but they are still excepting blue suits, make sure your ASVAB matches the job your looking for!

the air force does not take prior service. so your chances of getting in is slim to none. you can probably get into the navy, coast guard, usmc, and army.
