Faith.

Rewritten properly it means: "Blind obedience."

Section 1805 of the Catechism Of The Catholic Church:

Four virtues play a pivotal role and accordingly are called "cardinal"; all the others are grouped around them. They are: prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance. "If anyone loves righteousness, [Wisdom's] labors are virtues; for she teaches temperance and prudence, justice, and courage." These virtues are praised under other names in many passages of Scripture.

I would say faith- but that's not a virtue its a limitation. I'd say daughter of Isis hit it right on the head- virginity.

Material wealth. Mark 8:36 -- "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?"

For many people, faith is considered a virtue. I can't imagine why that is; it doesn't seem at all virtuous to me.

So if that's your attitude why not go all out and be unvirtuous. Just tell yourself 'Every day and in every way I am getting worser and worser.' Then you will be a real character.

Chastity, hands down.

No "virtue" is more overrated than feeling superior for resisting (for no good reason) such a basic, biological urge.

(Hands-down = prudes, lol--feeling morally superior for being chaste is like me feeling superior for not having eaten a banana in years. In both cases, the appropriate response is, "Uh, so what?")

Faith - another word for stubborn ignorance, no virtue at all. Chastity is a close second, though.
