I am assuming that your pup does not have diarrhea. That's good. If she does see a vet.
Pooping alot. Probably because of what she is eating. Most pet food sold on the pet store and grocery store shelves are loaded with fillers, grains, by -products, corn, dead and diseased animals, rancid restaurant grease, etc. It is all disgusting.. but pooping alot is mainly due to the fillers that your dog shouldn't have.
visit http://pawprintspetheatlhmanagement.blogspot.com for learning more about pet food. You can also visit Itchmo.com which is a great sources of lots of information regarding pets. I feed Flint River Ranch www.frrco.com/122135. This pet food doesn't contain the crap and they test for Melamine every 15 minutes during processing. You have to order it on line they don't sell to commercial chains.
A better pet food and less or no fillers the less the pooping and the healthier the pet.

Depends of what you consider a lot, but as long as it's not diarrhea it's not a problem but for cleaning. It also depends on what you feed him, some dogs go potty even after getting a big treat. I'd recomend a two or three meals a day depending on age and feeding him a good diet with little or no cheap fillers, the results are really good, less poop, easier to pick up and a healthier dog.

no. you should try to have a routine for your dog. let him/her out in the morning, around 12ish, around 4ish or after he eats dinner, and then again at like 9 or 10. that's my routine for my dogs but you may have different schedule. Usually the dog will let you know when he wants to go outside like trying to get your attention or jumping up near the door, some sign will clue you in somehow. usually puppy's don't know better so don't be too concerned unless you notice discoloration or runniness in his poop. if it's different colors or runny i would bring a small sample of his poop to the vet. I know it's disgusting but you'll get a results faster.

Never hurts to have the vet check him out, bring in a sample and have it tested for worms.

Otherwise you're probably just feeding poor quality food with lots of fillers.

What do you mean by "a lot?"

It's my experience that puppies poop more often than adults. As long as it isn't diahrea and there are no worms in the poop, it's probably fine.
