Any pain medication for humans does not work the same on pets. They could be harmful for them.
Maybe softening her food if it isn`t soft already would help her. For now, just let her rest.

No, don't give her any aspirin. Is some instances, it IS ok for cats and dogs to have aspirin but they don't metabolize it like humans do. Cats usually can take 1 baby aspirin every 3 days. Just try to feed her soft food until you get her to the Vet tomorrow. Or call your Vet and ask if they recommend anything to keep her comfy until you can get her seen.

No u should not give your cat aspirin you should take it to the vet tomorrow but until then maybe even put ice on it to make the swell go down a little. If you give her dry food maybe you should try wet food just for that day.

NEVER give your cat aspirin ... that creates all kinds of medical problems. It could be a bad tooth or an infection causing the swelling. I know visiting the veterinarian can be a hassle, but I strongly suggest that you have your kitty checked out as soon as possible.

Do not give your cat any meds unless your vet authorizes it. She will not starve over night. The one thing I would do is give her some water by way of a dropper. Don't be scared. She will not starve but water is essential. Just give her a few drops now and then. The vet will handle it.

NEVER give your pet human medication. That could kill her.
Call your vet back and insist that your cat be seen today. Don't take NO for an answer. A good vet will always take a patient who has an immediate health problem.

Look and see if there is a puncture mark on her head. If there is she has an infection, it sounds gross but pull the scab off and puss will come out and this will relieve some pressure. DO NOT give aspirin or anything else. It will kill your cat.

NO ASPRIN!
Human pain relievers are toxic/poisonous to cats!
She will be fine if you are taking her to the vet tomorrow.

like everyone else is saying aspirin can kill cats. she probly has a swollen lymph node. when infection goes into the body sometimes it drains into the lymph nodes. she mostlikely just needs some antibiotics. hope this helps.

Your cat won't starve to death in one day.
One of my cats gets a really fat lower lip when we feed him a certain brand of food and when we change to a different one, his lip swelling goes down. We figured it is probably an allergic reaction to some ingredient. I hope your kitty gets better.....no asprin please!
