I said last time you asked one of these questions:
They aren't magical and they aren't crotchless (and they aren't red...they're white"

The idea is similar to all other religious clothing. (The stuff the pope wears and his cardinals, Jewish clothing, et cetera). It's just that we don't want to go around showing it off, I guess. What better place than under the clothes?

I don't get angry about it though (I am LDS). Sometimes I get frustrated when somebody doesn't listen to the answer for a question they ask. I guess ridicule of good things is a sign of the times. Just like people sometimes make fun of people who love to be happy! :o) If you have any more Q's about the garments, you can e-mail me...

I must be shopping at the wrong place for my garments (Mormon underwear) because mine have crotches!!! I would certainly go for the more free feel if it was available.

You can ask me whatever questions you want about garments, I don't get angry, even if they are often completely rediculous and only asked in an attempt to make Mormons look stupid or silly. However, as you know, Mormons cannot talk about certain sacred things because they promise not to. Otherwise, ask on.

I will state, however, that Mormons do not believe their garments are magical, but rather are worn as a reminder of the covenants/promises they make with God. There are numerous religions that have clothing or other items which they wear that are used in the same way, e.g. see Judaism, Sikh, Christianity (the cross is worn for a similar purpose by some), etc.

God bless.

What is your fixation with others undies? Have you told your therapist about this fixation? Might be helpful. ;)

It really doesn't offend me, or make me angry as much as confused as to why my underwear matter to anyone but me- and maybe my hubby ;).

They aren't magical. It would be cool if they were!!! Superman, look out! Crotchless would be fun too, but alas, no such luck! They only come in two colors too, white and nasty army green, but I can only get the white ones, since I'm not in the military. Too bad for me!!

Unless you understand what they mean to those of us who wear them, you wouldn't understand the WHY. There is a part of me that wonders what it really matters to everyone else what I wear under my clothing. Does it really matter? I mean really. I'm not on here asking why the pope wears that funny hat, or why nuns wear that full dress and habit. Or what the heck is up with the cross necklaces. I think that would be rude of me, and not very understanding about someone elses religion. That might be why certain people get mad about these questions. The way they are worded makes it sound like you are just trying to be flippant about something that we hold very dear.

Translation of under: NO, because of the fact if God needed Thomas Monson to run usa, then God might tell Thomas Monson to run for President : ) i'm LDS, and our Church teaches that the form is inspired and freedom is sacred. President Monson and the different apostles lead the international Church of Jesus Christ. they're very busy at that, and that i do no longer think of they want to steer usa (or they might run for President). they don't have to any extent further say approximately what the rustic does than the infallible Pope did whilst Kennedy grew to become into President etc. LDS leaders stay politically independent and that they coach that countries could be run by using the will of the folk. Mitt has shown us that he will bypass with this. As Gov of Massachusetts he grew to become into elected to represent people who're greater liberal than he's. He did an outstanding interest of that. If he in basic terms went with what his Church teaches he may be suspect. i think of he has shown backbone in representing people who disagreed with him on specific ideas. Mitt has reported this, examine his website. And be warned, there are a number of haters who attack LDS complete time on the cyber web. they provide you all sorts of incorrect information. in case you have questions bypass to LDS org. BTW anybody has a right away hyperlink to God : )

Why yes. Mitt Romney personally checks Yahoo Answers every day for your brilliant questions, gets offended, and reports them to Yahoo Abuse. However, he will be disappointed to find out that the system isn't really anonymous and you've found out about his little obsession.

I think it's just that you're so dang rude about something that's sacred to us. There's nicer, more polite ways to ask about this.

Do you see us asking rude unkind questions about your religion/belief?

Just because it's different doesn't mean it's fair game for mockery. Grow up, and start showing respect for others, no matter the differences.

I, and I'm sure he and everyone else, is much more concerned about the fact that you're even asking about someone else's underthings in the first place. Wouldn't make me angry as much as very nervous!

Mitt Romney probably doesn't care.

Well, apparently this one got through. But then again, maybe your others were removed because you are asking questions just to see who you can anger the most?

I dunno... try wording the questions diffferently. You may have more luck.
