I have hereditary dark circles and I hate them.
I'm looking for a good product that will help get rid of them.
Keep in mind: I don't use any foundation because my face is acne free without really having to wash it, so like if I were to get some sort of concealer for them, it has to blend in well.

If not concealer, then just some sort of cream that may get rid of the circles. I don't really know what's out there, what works, etc. So yeah, I need help with getting a product.

One that isn't super expensive and actually works.
It doesn't have to be dirt cheap and not work that well.
Just not like $300, even if it works like magic.

Thanks (:

No matter what any one says, there is no cure for dark circles. I have them because of my genes as well, and I have wasted $100's of dollars trying to get rid of them. A good mineral concealer (like Sheer Cover) will work well and blend if you want a really natural look, also, a little cucumber extract (the juice of a cucumber) helps a little over time. You will probably get people saying prep. H., please don't put that stuff on you eyes, the ingredient that it used to have to help puffiness has been taken out and it now has no benificial properties for helping the eye area. Massage under your eyes gently with your ring fingers every day and the circulation will improve, thus lightening the dark circles. The best advise though is a good concealer, beleive me don't waste your money on anything else, it won't help.

Puffiness or skin discoloration under the eyes affects just about everybody at some time or another. For some of us, however, these “bags” or “dark circles” are a near-constant bother. While these conditions are occasionally symptomatic of other illnesses, the usual cause is allergies, tiredness, or, unfortunately, heredity. No matter what the cause, you can still reduce the appearance of puffiness or dark circles, and in some cases, you may be able to get rid of them altogether.

I have the same problem with you. I use Vita K for the under eyes to eliminate the dark circles. Even though this does not get rid of them completely it does lighten it up quite a bit. It only costs about $10 and lasts a long time. Just also make sure you are getting enough sleep and are drinking enough water through out the day. By drinking at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day will help with the blood flow and not cause it to pool in the area under your eye. I hope this helps you out.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Yeah, dark circles run in my family too.
I have tried so many concealers & creams to try & get rid of them and there was one that worked perfectly.
It's Physicians Formula, and it comes in a lot of different colors, like yellow, so it blends in really naturally. It's also not that expensive & you can find it an any drugstore.

I use St. Ives face gel. It is soothing and has ingredients in it that relieve everything from dark circles to puffiness. It's really natural and feels good. It'll work, I think, if you use it day and night.
