People in Japan believe a lot of different things, same as the people everywhere else. Some might believe as you've described.

No. There are good Gods and bad Gods. That's all. Religions in East Asia are usually polytheism.
In Buddism, there is a God called Yama which judge dead ppl. His name is Enma in Japanese.
However, it is just a story among Japanese.
A concept of reincarnation is more accepted in East Asia.

I presume you are saying that the different gods they worship in Japan are demons. If so you are right.
