And if so, isn't it true that he deflowered his own mother when he was born? Do you think his disciples ever teased him about that? I mean, who would want to be stuck with THAT distinction?

Primoa - I respectfully disagree. I don't find humor to be useless. In fact, I think it is vital.

It is a myth that Jesus was born of a virgin. If this myth were true then he would have been incapable of deflowering his own mother because he would not have been sexually mature for about another 12 years. Who is to say what happened when the disciples had a little too much wine: If they did tease Jesus, then none of this teasing made it into the Bible. The distinction of having been born of a virgin seems to have provided Jesus an effective way of differentiating himself and his church from competition in the religious education, entertainment and leadership business. His birth and crucificion continue to be a major part of the sales pitch used by his church to this very day.

Yes, he was.
As for the other part of you questions. If you're thinking as deflowering his mother as in the sexual context, no. He was born in the natural way that babies are born. As the disciples were Godly men and such things were not spoken of back then, no they didn't tease him about it. It wasn't even an issue.

No, A very common misconception among theists. Immaculate means clean. So an immaculate conception means that she was impregnated cleanly, which in the eyes of the church means that she and Joseph were married and Joseph is the father. Our jewish friends that can read hebrew can help you with this topic.

No. The word used to describe her means "woman of marriageable age." Because of mistranslations or maybge mistranscriptions, she was somehow described as a virgin. I guess the words are similar, if I remember correctly.
She also could have made up the whole annunciation story to cover up premarital sex or sex with someone other than Joseph.

Yes, Jesus was born to a virgin. But he did not "deflower" or have sex with his mother. In fact, Jesus did not have sex with anyone, contrary to rumors.

Why would you ask that question? The only person who would know the answer to that would be Jesus' mother....and she's dead so.... nobody knows. But, it is scientifically impossible to have a child without sperm...just so you know.

Yes it's true.....He had to be born of a virgin in order to be perfect.....and direct from the Holy Spirit of God. If he were conceived by normal means (intercourse), then He would have been all human.....and therefore, sinful.
As for the rest of your question......useless

She was NOT a virgin, SHE was born without ORIGINAL SIN. She was a pure vessel. God created Mary solely to provide the vessel to carry Jesus. She was a married woman NOT A VIRGIN. Mary IS the IMACULATE CONCEPTION...not JESUS.
