if i were you i would seriously consider going to see your doctor first to rule out any physical or mental illness. from what i have seen of the scientilogy cult on tv it is not a good thing and they try too much to control peoples lives. also i dont think it is at all right that they should be asking you to hand over large sums of money to solve all your problems. if you do suffer from depression and personality disorders then only your doctor or phychiatrist can make you well again. not an organization that has no medical knowledge or experience in treating these conditions.
as you said you were not aware before that you suffered from any such conditions, dont you find it rather odd that you have suddenly "developed" these problems since becoming part of the church of scientology. that would set alarm bells ringing if it were me.
please do not hand over any more cash until you have been properley diagnosed and dont let these people convince you otherwise. organizations like these target vulnerable people and convince them that they have problems and offer to solve them for a price.

Get away from them NOW. Do not sign any contracts, do not pay them another penny. Just get away NOW.
By the way, I don't think any bank will loan you the money if you tell them that you owe the Church of Scientology thousands and thousands of dollars. They'd have to KNOW that they'd never see their money again as Scientology is a money pit.
The official Scientology organization is composed of a number of “levels”. One begins as a “preclear” & works their way up. One must purchase virtually every service crucial to advancement directly from the "church" & at staggering prices. "Auditing", for example, is purchased in 12½ hour blocks, costing anywhere from $750 for introductory sessions (though a Scientologist has recently informed me that you can be audited for the low low price of $200!) to between $8,000 & $9,000 for advanced sessions. Visit this link to see how $380,000 is a conservative estimate for the total cost of moving all the way up the Scientology hierarchal ladder: http://www.xenu.net/archive/prices.html
These are the total costs for auditing alone: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology_as_a_business#Costs
Here’s an explanation of what “auditing” is: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061224182319AA2nnd6

I believe they are called the church of Scientology because someone did a scientific study and found out how to fleece a lot of impressionable people out of a lot of money. Where does the money go, they don't seem to have a worldwide reputation for helping the needy, at least not one that I've heard of.

Get away from them not to=morrow or next week now immediately, pronto without delay, they are just milking you. Forget Tom Cruise etc. they have the cash if they are daft enough you do not. If you continue you will really know what depression is 'cos no cash no interest. It is a science fiction religion invented by science fiction authors

Well instead of the church of scientology...try a good old fundamentalist religion...they only require a minimum of 10% of your gross earnings per life....in addition to an offering above the tithe of your choosing.
Of course, their promise is that if you give your tithe and offering...you will be rewarded seven times over. It seems to work for the mega churches pastors and televangelists...However, don't seem to be working so well for the people living in the projects....hmmmm.

Find a different church. Most try to help people without any ca$h payments. Are they licensed therapists? Tell them you'll pay after noticing results.

Funny how everyone that gets involved in Scientology has the same deficits that only they can correct.... for a price.
