You will see God soon through your own eyes. That is after you have been perfected and made white in character with the help of His Son Jesus Christ.
At the moment, we cannot and He cannot make himself visible for our own good. We will be burnt up because He is Holy and we are sinners fit to be burnt.
But God is so longing and anticipating the time when we see and actually live with Him side by side, forever and ever.
Think of this: unless you don't believe that God is love:
What is the purpose of God in creating us? Only to leave us alone wallowing in hardship?
No. God has a plan and the strategy in fulfilling this plan is quite long and ardous in order for us to be cleaned of our attitude which is basically HOSTILE to Him.
So read Revelation 21:3 " . . . Now the dwelling of God is with men, . . ." How great is this day when it comes.
So believe in Him even though we cannot see Him. Happy are you if you do that, if you believe in Him/Jesus Christ even if you don't see Him. That is faith and this kind of faith is the key to our salvation.
That is actually a challenge for Christians worldwide.

Of course people would believe quicker if they could see Him. However; even in Bible times people saw Him and His miracles and still didn't believe. Faith is what it is all about. When you get onto an airplane, you have faith that you will take off and land safely or you wouldn't get on. When you sit in a chair you have faith that it will hold you. Did you put the plane together? Hire the pilot personally? Make the chair with your own hands? No you have faith in others. God ask no more than this to have FAITH in Him without seeing Him. Read your Bible and you can get first hand accounts of people who did see Jesus and beleived.

Hi and Good morning!....Supposedly 'we' as His children see Him everyday through our eyes and witnessing what He had created. Now I personally agree with your concept that 'seeing is believing' but this is what our 'faith' is all about. To believe in Him in our hearts and souls and mind. Now in my opinion, God created His son Jesus in a sense that maybe since God couldn't come down to earth personally and to teach His children His laws and good morals and ethics that Jesus was in remembrance of Him (God). That God was actually His son Jesus in a certain aspect. In the Bible, Moses witnessed God as a 'burning bush' why didn't God present Himself as a man? or an 'Angel' perhaps..why a bush? I'm thinking realistically here that maybe God couldn't represent Himself as a man since He was an entity or a spirit. So He created Jesus His son to do His teachings in human form since God wasn't able too. It's just a thought...it may sound odd but it makes one wonder on why, if God is so powerful why He couldn't portray Himself as a human/man when He spoke to Moses. He lives in all of His children and creatures and living things. Have a blessed day!

We might believe.... just as we died!
Exodus 33:20 explains humans can't see Him and live. Something so different we can not handle it. The account goes on to show Moses was put behind a big rock and allowed to see God's back and was just barely able to see that.
Humans have seen His son, Jesus, to tell us of Him. (John 1:18)

God is a spirit. Jesus was God in flesh. See I Timothy 3:16.

For me i do no longer think in God , i be responsive to for a absolute certainty God exist . And Jesus is the author and finisher of Christians faith . faith is a few thing it particularly is genuine and good like timber . The bible says faith is the substance of issues was hoping for and the info of issues no longer considered . faith is genuine , basically like capability is genuine . You cant touch capability , yet you be responsive to once you have it . God works in many tiers of religion , some human beings He talks to in a voice as yet another guy basically like He did with Moses . on the different intense some basically see problems with possibility , that look impossible to ensue on their own . God supplies all tiers of theory and faith . yet faith isn't comparable to theory , it particularly is a real ingredient , basically like capability .

You cannot "see" a magnetic field...and yet you believe in them because you can see their works.
The works of God also surround us, but you will need to use also the "third eye," (the mind) to see them truly.
And then you can believe. And why would God not wish to test the mind? It's his greatest work.

That is where Faith comes in... when you believe but have not seen.
The Apostle Thomas wouldn't believe the Lord had risen "until I put my fingers in the holes of his hands and my hand in his side" When the Lord came to him and presented him with the option he begged forgiveness. And Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe."
