She sprinkled salt over every door entry in the house. Has a crystal hanging from the window in one area of the living room. She has a red dragon looking thing I forget what it's called. lol hanging from another window in her kitchen. Along with another crystal and a small dream catcher in one other window i the kitchen. She has like 10 types of herbs that are "new to me" in her kitchen. lol and she loves animals and says "witchcraft is wonderful if it works for you". She accepts me for being a witch. And...she literally has like 12 candles in her house. Different colors too. She also loves loves loves nature and respects "the mother earth". and she loves to cook. lol
But what do you think? Could she be a witch?

She told me that the phoenix she has hanging up over her window is protection. Along with the salt around the door and windows. The crystal is for protection. As well as good luck and mind clarity. She said there's nothing wrong with witchcraft and that she "does it sometimes" lol So I gues that says it...
Witch Witch She's a Witch lol

Ask her. She is the only one that would be able to give you an honest answer on it. She may just be a nature buff that has some weird tendancies. The salt in the door is usually what one would be considered a protection spell in a "wicca" belief to keep bad people out of the house. In other religions it has other meanings. She may be superstitious as well and so little oddities like this may just fall into that catergory. 12 candles is not alot of candles... especially if one claims to be a witch. So, the only thing you have here is someone with salt on the door and a love for fantacy objects in the home. Talk to her and see where her standing is on all of these things. (By the way a protection spell in wicca also has to put salt on all the window sills... you can check that). I am by no means a witch, but have studied many many religions to enrich my mind... salt in the doorway can be from just about anywhere. Good luck

I think you should be asking her, not us, as we don't know her. She might be a new ager. She might find crystals to be pretty. The salt thing can come from a variety of practices. Lots of people like candles...and nature too for that matter. She may not see any of these things as magical, in which no, I doubt she calls herself a witch. Or maybe it does. It all depends on the context in which she sees these things.

Sounds like she could be. The best way to know would be to ask her. If she accepts you for being a witch then obviously she should expect that question from you. If she is then imagine the knowledge you could gain from her teaching you what she knows! Knowledge put to use correctly = power. I encourage you to ask her.

She is a new age person into spirituality...wouldn't she admit to you if she was a witch? You could be describing me too and I am not a witch...

many people have herbs in their kitchen. and many people have lots of candles. dreamcatchers dont have anything to do with witchcraft either. *shrug*

That and/or she has bad decorating taste...who hangs crystals, dreamcatchers and dragons in their house as decoration...even if I were a witch...I think I would find a more appealing way to decorate my surrondings. :-)
