If the United States is always complained about...why does everyone in the world want to come here? It is the single most powerful country in the World. In less than 300 years in existence it has surpassed the "mighty" european countries who have been "powers" for the last 1,000+ years. Rich in all resources and cut off from the hell hole that is the middle east. The United States is the greatest country that has ever and will ever exist.

Yes, I love the U.S.A....however, I don't always agree with our elected officials...but at least I am able to express my beliefs. You definitely need to travel! You will appreciate this country even more! I've traveled all over the world, including Mexico and Japan. If you go to places like China, you will kiss the ground when you arrive back to the U.S. and thank god you live here.

I am an American and yes the US has alot going for it. I live part-time in Europe so I have seen other ways too.
My husband was born in Europe an is now a naturlized US citizen.
i have asked him in the past which country he really feels better living in.
He does like the fact that in his country of birth, he is treated with more respect as a older person and that people don't always ask him where he is from.
He likes many things in the US, mostly that you really can be yourself and are free to explore different things.

I immgirated to this country from the USSR. Growing up in Russia, my family and I endured an endless onslaught of discrimination and abuse because, despite having lived in Russia for several generations and speaking Russian as our native language, we just weren't "really Russian". Even teachers in school exemplified me to my classmates as someone who is "a Soviet citizen, but not actually Russian".

When we applied for our exit visa, the Supreme Soviet stripped us -- native-born Russian citizens -- of our citizenship, as punishment. Much of our property was confiscated. We were allowed to take with us only things of minimal value.

When I came to the United States, I was officially "stateless", without country -- most people believe such a thing isn't possible, but it is. The US gave me a home, and a lot, A LOT more Americans welcomed me as an American than Russians ever welcomed me as a Russian.

So yes, I love this country.

I love it here. But I was born here.

If someone wants to be in this country then they MUST feel the same way about the US or they should go back home.

I have traveled a lot (you can see one shot in my little photo there) and still I am the most comfortable and feel the proudest of this country. I wouldn't want to be a citizen of ANY other country.

Yes I like The U.S.A. best. I've lived in Japan and have visited Canada and Mexico and the US by far is a better fit for me.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away.

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A.,

There's pride in every American heart
And it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.

God Bless The U.S.A!
