some days it looked great but some days it didn't. so i dyed it black again, but i wanted some color, so i put sum highlights myself, but they don't look that great cuz it's kinda blotchy or something like that.
i don't know what to do. i know i look great w the plain black hair, but i just wanna spice my hair a bit, n i don't know what to do?
thx for the help in advance.

Don't worry!
I did something similar to what you did. I'm black and have really dark, jet-black hair naturally and died it honey colored. I went through a transition phase, before going back to my natural color.

Dye your hair a base color, whatever you want. Do it with an ammonia-free color because, trust me, the ammonia really causes a lot of damage. I get what you're saying about spicing up your color, you want a dark hair that shimmers in the light and is multifaceted and multidimensional. For this you do one of two things, find a great salon in your area that will a), give you a great cut that fits your face and b) highlights that accent the cut and color of your hair. Believe it or not, the hair cuttery offers great haircuts and colors for very inexpensive prices and are pretty much located all around the country. If not, the Feria collection of highlights, that is represented by Eva Longoria is a great choice for highlighting your hair.

Good Luck!

go to a professional hair color for correction, if you like the dark color why not add some red highlights? They will be much more subtle than blonde streaks
