I've always said that a god that can condemn a moral person is not only not my god, but is my implacable enemy. So, if a moral person who doesn't believe in Jesus can be condemned, then I don't want to enter the "heave" of the god who did the condemning.

I've read "The Bible" , and listened to so many people using the technique of threat and fear to try and convince me that unless I believe a certain way (usually they mean the same way they do) I am going to some day be tossed into a fiery pit of torment called Hell, where I will scream and holler in excrutiating agony for aaaaallll Eternity.
From all of this I have concluded, that the "God" they describe, and the one written extensively about in "The Bible" would, if he exists at all, have to be one mean, spiteful, viscious, vindictive, hate-filled, punitive, sadistic, narcissistic jerk.
I'll pass altogether, thanks, on the "God" thing, and I feel comfortably reassured after a long life thinking about it, that no such mysterious invisible superbeing exists, and that whether or not, when we die, some part of us -- our essence -- our personal consciousness -- our "soul" if you like that word, survives the body's death, I have absolutely nothing to worry about as far as that "place of hideous eternal torture" is concerned. On the other hand, if we do, indeed, simply just "go pop" the whole thing is moot anyway.

God says "none are righteous, no not one" and the only righteousness in man is the righteousness of Jesus Christ the sinless sacrifice. Without Jesus there is no way to heaven. It doesn't matter what we think; it matters what God thinks and what God commands. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father (God) except by Me." Jesus said, "I and the Father are One." Jesus said, "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father (God)."

I say guy or woman a million. right this is why: a million. i in my view believe that a similar deity/deities cutting-edge in Christianity are cutting-edge in Islam are cutting-edge in Judaism are cutting-edge in Shintoism are cutting-edge in Hinduism...and so on. consequently, i think guy or woman a million is a real believer in the excellent deity/deities and subsequently would be rewarded with despite is unquestionably our reward. If which potential Heaven, then Heaven. If there is not any afterlife, then i think guy or woman a million would be blessed in this existence. 2. you will no longer be able to love Jesus with all your heart and be keen to kill somebody in Jesus' call. you may SAY you do, yet with that time of hatred and intolerance, you're with the help of no potential emulating Christ, it particularly is what "Christian" potential. on the top of the day, this is the call of the excellent deity/deities besides.

God choose me when He gave His Son up for my sins. I choose to follow the God of all and everything not because of what I've done but because of what He's done!
His love for me (us) is unconditional and freely given to me (us) before we were even here.

the only reason anyone ever chooses to believe in god under religious contexts is to get into heaven. it's in peoples' nature.
if you choose to believe in his existence without religious directives, like me, then you don't consider him benevolent or merciful, or evil. he is just there. sometimes good sometimes bad. and no heaven.
