Not that the other answers are bad...but at least I am guy and know what you are going through...

I actually am/was affected by what some people refer to as "Sports Balding"...I played football for years as well as baseball and golf...all sports where you usually have a hat or helmet on your head causing "friction" baldness.

There are some products out there that are billed as "fuller hair formula" but I never found them to be very helpful..At the young age of 19 I started to notice my loss and found the most helpful thing t be taking off the hats and helmet as much as I could, so reduce the amount of time you have your head covered and use sun screen as a protector instead of a hat as a very first step. The next step would be to talk to your doctor, he/she may have a colleague that works with transplants, if you want to go that route, or may have a suggestion on a particular OTC drug that may work.

It is a hard fact of life to accept, and I actually opted against any treatment after speaking to my doctor and found that there are a lot of guys out there that go through this, even at a young age...Whatever you choose though, I can't stress the hat thing enough as a precautionary measure..

Good Luck..

Is your hair just falling of more than you think is normal or are you actually showing some signs of balding? If it's the latter you might want to consult a doctor or a dermatologist to find out the cause and possible treatment. Seriously speaking there are no foolproof diy solutions.

You can buy from those hair oils that most of your race use. you can very easily brush it when you use that and then you have very cute locks and it makes it smell very nice too. I had a friend who did that and she had very fine curls! It won't fall out because you are tying it up, that is not a reason, but if you think that is the source, then try my way!! hope that helps... You lose the most hair in the summer and the winter.

You HAVE to be easy on your hair---with your shampooing, rinsing, ESPECIALLY towel-drying,-
Watach how you comb (or pick) your hair--BE EASY on it.
AGAIN--watch that towel drying--it will frazzle your hair AND tear it out!

This is for black, white, yellow, and red people!
