All who would have ever been saved were saved when Jesus preached to the souls of those in prison right after his crucifixion.
1 Peter 3:18-20
18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

If you study the Bible you will notice that there were two testaments; the Old Testament and the New Testament. God made a way for his people in the old testament through the sacrificing of lambs. For that time it was a covering of sin so that we could be clean before God's eyes and would be at peace when we died. In the New Testament God provided the ultimate sacrifice; his son's blood that removes our sins when we ask forgiveness. Through Jesus we are a sured that we are forgiven and will spend eternity with him, now and after death forever.

God's timing is always perfect because HE is perfect.
There are souls that were saved before Christ. That was what animal sacrifice was about. Also, people BC were taught God's ways and those who adhered to that teaching were saved. God has ALWAYS provided a way to Him.
But Jesus came to fulfill the Mosaic Law and bring a New Covenant, which we now follow.

Souls could be saved before Christ died. Its just before Christ you had to sacrifice animals and everything (for the sanctity the blood holds). Jesus came as an "ultimate sacrifice" where we could ask forgiveness through Jesus. Why God waited so long.. I'm not sure.

Who says no one was saved prior to Jesus death? The mosaic law of sacrifice was kept as a precursor to the death of Christ. Read the following passage from the book of Job. It was written well before the death of Jesus and yet it shows that Job knew he would be saved.
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

That has nothing to do with it. There was a system of sacrifice where they used animals to atone for their sins. They were saved before Christ came.

God knows who would reject the message and who would accept it. Based on that, His timing was perfect. Besides, the Bible says that Jesus was "the lambwho was slain from the foundation of the world."

He stated he would come before his followers all died. The question is did he do as he stated or did he lie? Or was his return a fabrication by the "apostles" who by the way did not write the books of the NT.

I appropriate Christians as quickly as I see them decide different human beings and disrespect different ideals. To me, love and tolerance are the cornerstones of the Christian faith. as quickly as I see some Christians diverge from this path, I have no subject attempting to hold them decrease back.

You would find the answers to many of your questions if you read the bible cover to cover. That way, you won't have to swallow everything people tell you, but would have your own convictions and somethings would be revealed to you if you read with an open heart.
