Piercings?

Question

I use to have my ears pierced when i was little. But then the holes grew up. I am thinking about getting them redone and i also want my bellybutton and possibly my eyebrow. What do yall think? Would it hurt? Im not like one of those people that get everything pierced so im not sure about the eyebrow yet

my eyebrow piecing didn'thurt at all! Andyes I will have a scar there when I take it out, so what I got scars from stuff that I didn't do. And no offense to whomever you are that said eyebrow piercings were barbaric, whatever, and to the one who said its out of style? Its not a style, it a piercing you either like it or you don't. I say get whatever you want pierced, besides most people who have neg. things to say about people w/piercings are usually not the type I would "hangout" with anyway. ! have 5 piercings and at one time my laberet and bellybutton were pierced. I think the pain is the least of it, the hard is part is the anticipation! good luck

Yeah, each of these is a different kind of pain. People get their ears pierced with that piercing gun thing, and that doesn't really hurt, it just pokes a hole. That's why they can heal shut so quickly. But other piercings are done with a hollow needle, which cuts a tiny round hole which is slower to heal shut. The needle piercing takes longer 'cuz it's done by hand, so it hurts more - it's not an instantaneous "pop and it's done." You'll want to care for your belly button piercing very carefully, as this location seems to be the one that gets infected the quickest. I personally think eyebrow piercings are attractive, if the jewelry is small and tasteful, but employers may not agree. I also think a tiny diamond stud in the side of the nose is attractive. I envy people who can wear a belly button ring and display it with pride, LOL! I think that one will hurt the most. Good luck, and enjoy your jewelry :)

The ears and belly button are cute. you seem sure about them. The eyebrows, well, that does not look right on everybody, not to mention the fact that you are uncertain. I would say don't do the eyebrow, as long as you are not positive that it is what you want. If later in life you don't want it, it will leave an ugly scar. For me, the ears hurt more than the belly button. But everybody has a different tolerance for pain. good luck and make sure you are 110% positive of what you want before you do it.

Eyebrow piercings are out of style. The bellybutton piercing is about a 4 on a scale of 1-10.

i have both belly button and ears and i used to have my nose pierced it doesnt hurt that much but getting your eyebrow isnt the best idea it leave a line on your eyebrow and the hair never grows back

I believe you should be able to choose where you get your piercings/tattoos but you must also remember you may want to work in a profession which may frown upon them.

My advice is to go for it but find discreet locations for them so that means no tattooed face (Ala Mike Tyson). LOL!

I like brow piercings but between family, church, and in my profession (teacher), it would be more trouble than it is worth. The belly button piercing and of course the ears in my opinion are your best bets.

My family is into piercings but not me, I am only 20 but I still like to look perfessional all the time, I like the classy look not the punk look, I would get the ears and maybe belly but I would leave it at that!!!
And have fun it only hurts a little while, unless it gets infected!!!

Do your ears first and see if that is too much pain for you. If you can handle it then get your belly button done. Do one piercing at a time. Just go for it.

ears are not bad at all. howeve belly button that varies on the people. i recently got mine done and what we think happened was it hit a vain which made it hurt me. but that doesnt happen to everyone. it really depends on your body and how much pain your used to and how much pain you can take... i say go for the ears and belly button.. because even though my belly button hurt i think it was all worth it. just make sure and clean it just as they tell you! = ]

Bellybutton is hot eyebrow is cute but they leave a big scarred dot on ur eyebrow! So if u ever go professional or when u old u'll have that scar 4ever!
