I've noticed that if anything is remotely consistent with the Bible (hey, we found a country named Egypt), the entire book is immediately confirmed.

But if the Bible is grossly inconsistent with actual evidence, it's a matter of faith and it isn't meant to be evaluated in the context of archeology.

And then just some people drink the real koolaid and say all archeology, cosmology, physics, and biology confirms exactly everything ever said in the Bible.

That's the koolaid that tastes kind of like shampoo.

Because some people need to be convinced by the rationalization of facts. Some people will go on blind faith alone, they tend to be absolutely retarded. Most people do think somewhat and need some sort of empirical basis to get by in life but will believe in god just to have some sort of excuse to escape from reality. These people might only slightly retarded but they're still retarded.

Yes, to answer why- You can justify a lot of power(fascism) when you have a 'god' on your side. Socialists are guilty of this too. They've only replaced god with the state.

--I AM NOT A CREATIONIST, but believe in the Bibles truth on sciences as any scientist believing in factual science(not evolution) does!

--DOES A SCIENTIST stop studying the laws of gravity, electro-magnetic forces etc. because they were discovered and know something about them?

--OR DOES THE TRUE scientist , keep improving in his search of knowledge of the invisible forces, to find the interaction with other invisible forces?

--DOES HE NOT practice this type of faith?

(Hebrews 11:1) “11 Faith is the *assured expectation of things hoped for, the **evident demonstration of *realities though not beheld. . .” FOOTNOTES:
*“Assured expectation.” Lit., “a sub-standing.” Gr., hy·po′sta·sis; Lat., sub·stan′ti·a
**“Evident demonstration.” Or, “convincing evidence.” Gr., e′leg·khos; Lat., ar·gu·men′tum. Compare Joh 16:8 ftn.
***Lit., “of things.” Gr., prag·ma′ton.

--THIS TYPE OF faith is based on "evident demo of realities" that are many times--invisible!

--SUCH REALITIES IN reference to God are:
1. His existence & created things, 2 His sons existence,3. the accuracy of all history the Bible references, 4. geographic references, 5. Prophecies that have been inspired and fulfilled , 6. Any references to the sciences etc. etc.

-- IN RELIGION NON-REALITIES SUCH AS are taught as truths:
1. the trinity, 2. hellfire, 3. Immortal soul thing, purgatory, etc.
--AND are as unrealities as all the teachings of evolution!
---SUCH THINGS have no substance to them , and thus are "credulous" or serve as "blind faith"--which the Bible never teaches!
--THUS TRUE FAITH, that scientists and Bible believers practice continue to be strengthened by logical reasoning and realities!

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.

Who's looking? It's all around us. No need to look silly. (Just see.) Open up those eyes. God gave them to us for a reason. To see all of the wonderful things He created.

Evidence is a scientific term, and Creationism is not science but a belief.

Answer: It would be helpful to know the scientific method with its limitations. Simply put, Creationism is not science.

It is not the "Creations" that seek the evidence it's the "doubters" like yourself that seek it.I am glad that you are still "in the hunt" for truth. Look at the book of John then decide, cheers mate!

They have no evidence of creationism. They keep looking for facts to refute legitimate scientific research with their "creation facts" but they can't find any, so many of their so called leaders make the facts up and sell them to their sheeple.

We aren't looking for evidence, it is all around us. Its the evolutionists who keep looking for evidence to dis-prove creation, so we have to fight back with evidence of our own.
