Shouldn't the Atheists, "wiccans" and their ilk be in "Mythology" or something? Is their only reason to be in here to insult and defame?

Uhhh, I kinda thought my name would give it away, but I'm not a Christian. Shows how much hate these other, (uhh, religions, did some of you call them?) truly have in their hearts. Here you are busting me up for not accepting lack of religion FOR religion, and you assume I'm a Christian? And yes , it;s unfair of me to cap. one and lowercase the other, so here- wicca and atheism...better now?

not only do they not want to believe.. but they also want to tell the believer that they are wrong....

i guess they feel empty and have nothing better to do... that is what you do when you find someone better than you.. you go and attack his/her beliefs in his/her area...

Why is it hurting you, this is surely not to insult anyone or defame anything, Perhaps the opinions, or facts expressed here shakes your own belief system, just stay outside the ring and examine various views, if people are using harsh language, just take it that they have been negatively affected, this forum is not about you, its the way the world is heading towards and how it affects people like you and me. These insults are just verbal, and virtual it is better than actual physical harm, if words are hurting you so badly imagine the bomb blasts and suicide bombers, at lease we can change people's opinions here by words than actual harm by killing. Let us not drive angry people into the war zone, that harm cannot be undone, so lets listen to every opinion and grow from this, this is true spirituality and a new religion called live and let live!

As far as "defaming" is concerned, looks like you are trying to spread the word and working on faming your religion, its your belief system and you have the right to follow your "Expansion Policy" but if people's opinion is hurting you and looks like it is annoying you, then it sounds like you have your own doubts, its always good to check in with our own beliefs and give it a good reason to follow, Ask your self are you happy following dogmas that make no sence to your life and expressions or it is your life to understand truth based on what you want to express and be who you really are, in being who you are is a sure way to express the potentials God gave you especially to you, if you deny your expressions remember you are denying God within you. And when you deny god within, you can be unhappy ever after because the real you never found the light of expression. this is spirituality by the way.

First of all "christian", don't insult my religion by putting it in quotes and I won't insult yours the same way.

Second, I try very hard NOT TO insult or defame, but questions like yours truly try my endurance.

Third, you are quite the troll, capitalizing atheism, reducing Wicca to nothing more than a joke, how are you not insulting and defaming?

**EDIT: great, so you aren't a Christian. I am still Wiccan, it is still a religion, and I would appreciate it if you took the time to do us the courtesy of capitalizing it. JERK! (happy now?)

Wiccans are into the means of witches and warlocks and you are saying that isnt spirtuality?

Atheism is the belief of no god and you are saying that it shouldnt be included into religion.

If thats the basis then Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. would deserve to be in the same section as you states Wiccan and Atheist to be in, you CAN NOT prove that any of them are real.

Im Agnostic by the way and I am open to all religions, but it seems like you didnt think that through.

No, their purpose here is to discuss religion and spirituality. Wicca, much as you might find it distasteful, is a religion, not a mythology, and at least some atheists are interested in discussing spiritual beliefs and practices in order to gain a greater level of understanding. "Religion" does not mean "Only Christians Count."

well wiccan is an actual religion but atheism is just a lack thereof and what they are trying to do in the religion area is similar to evangelism. If there was an atheist area in yahoo! answers all the religious people would be in there doing the same thing.

Why do you think that wiccans and their ilk aren't spiritual? Why shouldn't your faith system belong in the mythology area? It is no more real than any others.

That's funny and sad at the same time; you are clearly Islamic, yet everyone is calling you Christian. No one reads anymore.

*Drink*

I wouldn't necessarily classify Atheists and Wiccans in the same category of beliefs.

Wicca is a religion which involves spiritual practices. Of course the Wiccans should post in the Religion and Spirituality Section. I'm not sure why you even mentioned them.

I'm also not sure why you would suggest that Atheists post in the Mythology Section, either but then again none of your question makes any sense what so ever.

*Drinks again*

Maybe Christians should be in mythology, since the Bible is nothing but myths. You Christians always want people who believe differently than you to exit. You should know by now that's not going to happen, so get over it and learn to play well with others.

You don't have to be a Christian to be spiritual. Also, Wicca is a religion. Hence, they belong here, but atheists do as well. Perhaps they are trying to figure out why people believe the way they do.

atheism is closely related to religion, it focuses around a god or the absence of one. Wicca is in fact a recognised religion, not to mention their *like* are all older religions than christianity itself... So I'd say they all belong here.

Next time you get a brilliant idea, just keep it to yourself, hmm?
