Talk to people you trust where you can show your feelings when you need to. Consider a group where other people have also lost a child. Treat yourself gently and don't expect much from yourself for a pretty long time. Speak with a grief counselor for reassurance when you think you are going crazy.

You should get some real help. I have not lost a child, and I could not even imagine. I have lost my younger brother to suicide and watched my parents go throught that as well as me going through that. Its been 7 almost 8 years and I still am not over it. I am considering seeing a therapist. I declined the help not long after this happend and now I wish I would have went. Maybe I would be better by now, or maybe you can never heal. I wish the best for you and Im sorry for your loss.
