the youth have responded to it in my church and call it "The Holy Spirit Challenge" they have shirts and everything. I think it is cool that they have retaliated to this matter. And I think we should all follow by posting videos on how we recognize the holy spirt, the father, and the son!

I think it is useful because on the whole even the very religious and very intelligent do not understand that what we call God is not real. Religion today is much like the world view of the early Reniassance period; they thought the world was flat and that everything revolved around Earth. They just did not understand what they were studying.
Similarly, I think that God exists, but not in the way that most people think. Religious people are still looking at the idea of God as a flat world that everything revolves around.
Sir Thomas More once said, "The trouble with God is that God is not what God is."

I think that blasphemy reveals more about the blasphemer than anything concerning the veracity of theological or religious claims. Further, it also demonstrates that ideological atheism has done as poor a job as religion in restraining the conceits of the ego.

It sounds like someone who is just trying to get attention and is a bit childish in my opinion. Even if what they are doing is blasphemy (and the bible doesn't specifically state exactly what constitutes blasphemy), it doesn't prove anything.

I think they have a point as many people mistakenly assume that Christianity is the ONLY religion in the world and it isn't. However, I will not do it as from my point of view I can't disprove the existence of the "Holy Spirit", therefore I will not deny its existence. It might exist, and it might not, but I don't know and I don't care - I have more important matters to deal with, like paying my bills.

I love Live4Glory's answer. We know that all things work for the greater glory of God. It is up to us as followers to find ways to make it so. I say we each find something that is against God and make it for Him. In my younger days pop music was considered evil now look how a generation has used it to spread the Gospel Of The Lord.
Yours in Christ,

Well they are wrong in saying that a verbal denying of the Holy Spirit is the unforgivable sin. Blasphemy of the Spirit is denying it when it draws you to God, and therefore, never accepting Christ as your savior. So if you never get saved, that's the unforgivable sin.
Other than that, Brian Sapient is an idiot.

People who are likely already atheist or agnostic exercising their right to free speech.
What's not to like about it? It's no different than someone else proclaiming their faith... except they're proclaiming an absence of faith.
