What are the odds of life arising on its own?
Full blown human? zilch. Accelerated complexity from simplicity? too many to compute (check the multiplication of virii and bacteria in a petri dish with adequate nutrients and the drosophyle mutations after a few generations).
Panspermia? Check the results of astronomic observation: a great many comets show organic compounds and fossilized bacteria (dead end evolution?) were found on Mars. It point towards the odds that life might be more common that we thought.
Created universe? Suggests the creation of this U from some other mega-universe, who created the first one then?
Could god create himself simultaneously with the U?
So what are the odds of the existence of a god? The present human situation on Earth at every level screams for a referee, isn´t he a bit long to appear? If he is past, present and future, isn´t he late?
For every answered prayer, isn´t there a huge majority of miserable people whose prayers stay unanswered?

What do you think is the more likely?
Something that is becoming clearer evryday in terms of our origin, or a story that is being mended each time we find an obstacle?
Doesn´t it sound like a child´s lie, when he/she tries to mend it with unrealistic details as he gets crossquestioned but the parents see through it?

Aren´t the various geologic and archaeologic finds good hints as to the age of the Earth and the age of the universe?
Are we so wrong in deducing stuff from those finds, but excellent at deducing stuff to create new technologies?
Does that hold water?
What are the odds?

This is almost as impossible as trying to convince people to stop playing the lottery. They will never win but they have hold on to the hope of winning and will never let go because the promise of reward is too great. The promise of eternal life is too tempting and they don't see the alternative (letting go of belief) as very rewarding.

Nice to see you are exercising your choice, too bad it's the wrong one. "For it is by grace we are saved through FAITH and not that of yourselves, it is the gift of God". How do you suppose the prophecies of the scriptures that have been fulfilled happened to the letter? just by chance? no, the odds are humongous. There are more to be fulfilled and will be , these are not forecasts like some nut like Jean Dixon or Astrodomus or ? these are by the creator who does not make mistakes. When Christ came he fulfilled over 100 Old Testament prophecies. I would use your intelligence to search out the truth through the reading of God's Word then decide is it eternity in heaven through Christ or eternity in hell by denying Christ. I respect your point of view although I could never agree with it.

What are the odds of life arising on its own?

One hundred percent, as we are here.

Full blown human? zilch.

False, as there is a 100% chance for that as well, as again, we are here.

Things aren't the way they are because that's the way you want them to be, and reasoning and rationality never work at the whim of the person doing the reasoning. Either something is true or it isn't, and real logic is very absolute.

That, and you seem to be arguing against yourself.

Well Jesus came and fulfilled dozens of prophesies and lets see the odds on that:

According to George Heron (mathematician) the chances of one man fulfilling only 40 of those prophesies are 1 in 10 to the power of 157.

So think about it the chances of winning the lottery are 14,000,000 and the chances of fulfilling only 40 prophecies are 100000000000000000000000000000...
000000000000000000000000000000...
000000000000000000000000000000...

And God was never cerated he always was and always will be, but I guess thats complicated for you to understand right?

edit: are origins are becoming clearer everyday? Science believes that non-living matter became living cells cells over millions of years, and you want to talk about odds?

Lots of good logic there, but you miss one very important part. God is not a created being. God is. He always has been and always will be.
