Ok i live in texas and i need a passport to another country.. What do i need before applying for one? where do i go to apply for One? how much money do i take to apply for one? can someone give me any information you may have on applying for this application. and if i apply this week, say tomorrow. How long will it be until i recieve my passport? Please help!

Present your birth certificate together with your application at the Foreign Affairs Office nearest where you live. The cost is only minimal.

You will need a valid id, birth certificate and two identical photos.

If you need a passport urgently(1-2 weeks), either apply at the Federal Passport Agency in Houston or go with a private passport expediting service.

I'm a Filipina and I came from the Philippines and In my experience last January me and my mom were going to National Statistic Office for filling our birth certificate and after 1 day I'll claimed it our birth certificate and after a few days we will to proceed the Department of Foreign Affairs for filling our Philippine Passports and we will to proceed the Courtesy Lane for the Government Employees like my mom works under the Government Agencies and I'm under of her as an Dependents this is a part of rules for the Government Employees of nos.of children ages 18 and up and I'm already 25.and after for fill up the applications of passports we will have a requires aside of birth certificate,valid I.D's whether in office,school etc. and of course size of Passport I.D pictures.and an authorization letter for an issued the Philippine Passport if you can't claimed it the passport that the dependents or Government Employees did not come in that and I think on behalf whether dependents or Government Employees should claimed it and after 1 day to claimed it and we can pay the passports P1500.00 pesos because it's P750.00 pesos each and we will have plans for the trip in Singapore to visit my cousins there and we will want to go in the some destinations there and right now we no definite date for tripping there.

You don't say what passport you are applying for. You should contact the nearest consular office to you for the country that you need the passport for.
