This would be a great move for Stremme. You will never see Sorenson's, Stremme's or Montoya's true potential in a Ganassi car. DEI/Ginn alleady has more drivers than it knows what to do with though. They should have put Truex in the #8 with the Bass Pro sposorship, with Regan Smith moving to the #1

Stremme will not probably get the ride at DEI but I don't think it will be Kyle Busch either. Kyle Busch doesn't want to be the second driver or third driver for that matter in his own team. He wants to be the team leader and if he goes to DEI he will 2nd behind Truex. I think Kyle Busch will go to Evernham where he can be the #1 driver and Stremme will stay at Ganassi. As for the 8 Jr will be driving it next year and DEI will have three cars next year.

David Stremme? I know you got this from Jayski, but this is pretty outrageous to me.
I'm not saying that it would never happen in a million years, but it just doesn't seem right for DEI to pick Stremme. In a few years, maybe, but not now.

Most reports I've heard say Kyle Busch will be in the number 8 next year. DEI will finally have a good driver if that happens.

Where did you guys see that Jr will take the 8 to HMS. Last I heard Theresa wasn't releasing the 8, and Jr might end up in the 5 car with a new sponsor.

Doubt it. with all respect to "jayski" this rumour makes little sense.Stremme is pretty much a "jag" (just another guy), DEI wants, and will get someone better, hopefully the shrub (Kyle Busch).

one of the candidates, but highly unlikely, u could look to see kyle busch in that car, but it wont be the #8. JR will drive that number at hendrick

I am for one just going to wait and see.. there have been too many changes in teams and that to even guess who will be where in 2008.
Everything would be just that a guess.. even though it may be an educated guess.
