United Healthcare insurance policy number help?

I boguht insurance since I didnt have any , I bought it for football and it cost 120 dollars, but now I cant play because Coach saysI need a policy # which I never got, he told me to get it form my insurance card but i dont have one
where do u get the policy number?

family doesnt have insurance never really needed it and we not getting it.. thats why i got it. this insurance is for the 07-08 football year, its only for football

we mailed it and never got anything or a call from them, we didnt even have to give our social

Call them they will get it for you tell them your info and stuff.

Until a few years ago, we were covered by United HealthCare, and found the service excellent for the time period involved. As another poster indicated, all coverage from UH is not identical. UH will 'tailor' a plan to meet the desires of the company purchasing the plan. Many people assume that coverages from assorted health insurers are all alike. That is not the case. A health insurance policy is a contract between the employer and the insurer. For a specified monthly premium per plan member, the insurer provides coverage for the employee as dictated by the contract. Coverages, co-pays, and deductibles can vary from contract to contract. Of course, the higher the co-pays, deductibles, etc. the lower the premium to the employer. You must check your policy carefully to see exactly how the coverage is defined.

If you give them your social security number and date of birth, they can give you the policy and group numbers.
