We have only been married about 18 months. My wife has taken our 7-month old son and left. She is a German citizen and holder of a Green card. She is now attempting to get a German passport to remove him from the USA, dual citizenship for him until 19. There has been no domestic violence or any problems, indications are she has been planning this for awhile. I miss my boy, I am a stay-at-home dad, I have been his primary care-giver since he was born. She has now locked me from all bank accounts and I have no money to fight her, legal aid won't help. I am lost, last possibility is tht my sister sponsored he and now plans to pull that sponsorship, what happens then? Especially to Christopher?

I believe if the child is a US citizen, it is considered kidnapping to remove the child from the country without the permission of both parents. Many airlines require a signed document from the other parent if the child is travelling with only one.
Your best move is to consult a family attorney as soon as you can. You might be able to find one who will do the work Pro Bono (ie free), and at the very least your first discussion/consultation might be free.
Your wife cannot lock you out of accounts that are also in your name. Go to the bank branches with ID and ask for access. I think she would need a court order to do that.
Again, a family attorney can advise.
Good luck.

Go to a family law attorney. They know how to get the spouse to cover fees, if necessary, but tell them it is an issue and why. Germany will enforce the Hague convention. You will need a court determination, though. Are you a US citizen?

Talk to the German Embassy. Tell them that she doesn't have permission to remove him from the US. Since he is a minor she needs to have your permission to get a passport for him. Call your State Representative's office and State Attorney General's office and ask for advice.

His spouse can not revoke his eco-friendly card in view that she has no authority to realize this. as quickly as issued, everlasting residency can basically be terminated by using the U.S. govt......the stipulation in many situations expires after the 1st 2-years of marriage.
